Favourite Recipe: Kale Chips

I was watching an episode of Cityline today and there was a quick mention of Kale Chips…..I was immediately intrigued as I’d love to find an alternate snack when craving the crunchy saltiness of potato chips.

After a quick trip to Google where I found numerous recipes and saw how easy this was going to be, I went to the fridge for some Kale (yes, I had some in there haha):

    Kale Chips

A container or 2 of Baby Kale
    Extra virgin olive oil
    sea salt

1. Preheat oven at 350F & line 2 cookie sheets with parchment

2. Toss the kale with a few teaspoons of olive oil and evenly distribute between the 2 cookie sheets in a single layer

3. Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt

4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until dark green and crispy

There will be shrinkage so you might want to make a lot more….or not share 😛

This is what the 2 pans looked like after I dumped one into the other. Not much for "finished product"!

5. Cool and enjoy!

Super easy and I’ve found my new favourite snack 🙂
