Welcome to Alberta

Brrrr…..yes, thoughts have turned to fireplaces, warm sweaters, cosy socks, and a heating pad on the bed turned up full blast an hour before bedtime. Hibernating? Yes, that’s what I’ve been doing the past few days….who wants to go out in THAT if they don’t have to?! Not me! 😉

Hi, Carol! Thank you for stopping by on my blog and leaving the sweetest comment! It’s lunch time at my work and your kinds words really made my day! You have a fun little site here – I love travel and am totally jealous of your travel experiences! I hope you stay warm in those very low temperatures (Celsius! as you pointed out ;)).

From my spot at the computer I can see the birds at the feeders….with their feathers all fluffed out and the awesome bird fattening seeds we leave out for them, they now look like fat chickens! I don’t know how such tiny things survive in this weather–nature is amazing!
Me, I’m inside with an electric fireplace on and it’s aimed at my feet 😛 haha
